The home value, mortgage balance and CLTV percentage you type into the calculator are processed by JavaScript on your own device. They are not submitted to our servers, we do not store them, and there are no user accounts, logins or sign-ups on this site. If you close the page, the numbers are gone.
The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Like any website, the hosting and network layer receives routine technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and browser and device details. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems. Cloudflare handles this data under its own terms and privacy policy.
We may use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) once it is enabled on this site, to understand in aggregate which pages are visited and how people reach them. If enabled, GA4 may set cookies or similar identifiers and may collect information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. We do not send the numbers you enter into the calculator to analytics. Analytics is not intended to identify you personally.
We may display ads through Google AdSense once the site is approved and the service is enabled. If ads are shown, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and may use information about your visits to this and other sites to show ads relevant to you. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/ads, and you can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. We do not control the cookies set by third-party advertisers. You can also limit or block cookies in your browser settings.
We have no active affiliate partnerships, so no affiliate tracking links are used. If that changes, we will disclose it on our editorial and advertising disclosure page and update this policy.
If you email or phone us, we receive the contact details and the content you choose to share. We use it only to read and reply to your message and to fix problems you report, and we keep it for as long as is reasonably needed for that purpose. We do not sell it. Please do not send account numbers, Social Security numbers, or loan documents.
Apart from cookies that may be set by analytics or advertising services after they are enabled, this site does not use cookies to track what you enter in the calculator. You can delete cookies or block them in your browser, and the calculator will keep working.
This site is written for adults who own or are considering buying a home. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Our guides link to outside sites such as government agencies. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
